On April 25th, under the guidance of the People's Daily and the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, the "Second China Excellent Poverty Alleviation Case Report Conference" jointly organized by People's Daily and China Poverty Alleviation Magazine was held at the New Media Building of the People's Daily.

According to the introduction, the event is themed on "Great Country Campaign, Cohesive Poverty Alleviation", bringing together representatives of social organizations and enterprises from the front line of poverty alleviation. This case took half a year from the collection of materials to the release of the report. The organizing committee selected six representative excellent case projects from a large number of application projects from all over the country.
Yang Chunguang, Chairman of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation (CCPIT), Li Fujun, Deputy Director of the Policy and Regulations Department of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, Ye Zhenzhen, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and President of People's Daily, and Zhang Lirong, Chief Editor of China Poverty Alleviation Magazine, attended the report meeting and delivered speeches. As a case review expert representative, Yang Chunguang, Chairman of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation, shared his poverty alleviation work experience during the exchange. Dispatched by the Organization Department of the Central Committee, Yang Chunguang has been working in the western region for 17 years since 1996, experiencing a history of poverty alleviation, western development, and poverty alleviation. When working in the largest prefecture in the country (covering an area of 470000 square kilometers in Bayingolin Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang), he once broke corn with his fellow villagers in Kuramulek Township at an altitude of 2800 meters, harvested wheat with his fellow villagers in Tula Ranch at an altitude of 3700 meters, and fought floods with his fellow villagers in Aqiang and Ushtala townships (Malan Base). When he served as the Secretary of the Shizuishan Municipal Party Committee in Ningxia, he visited several poverty-stricken villages in Taole and enterprises facing difficulties in restructuring to conduct research and follow up on plans; During his tenure as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda in Ningxia Autonomous Region, he visited Baodian Village - Wangnao Village, Pingfeng Town, Xiji County, Guyuan City multiple times to coordinate water improvement work and solve the problem of high mineralization in local drinking water. In April 2014, appointed by the Organization Department of the Central Committee, Yang Chunguang went to the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation to serve. Following the important instructions of the central government on doing a good job in "targeted poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation", he conducted several inspections in impoverished areas and designated Supplementary Point Village in Jishou City, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province as a support point for the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation. Donated to the construction of projects such as the Lianxin Square, Flood Control Embankment, Fumin Bridge, and Leisure Terrace in Budian Village. The production infrastructure of Budian Village has been greatly improved, and the living standards of villagers have been continuously improved. All poverty-stricken households registered in the village have been lifted out of poverty. Budian Village has become a model village for precise poverty alleviation in Jishou City and even Xiangxi Prefecture.
Yang Chunguang said: Looking back at the snowcapped mountains and vast deserts, the exhibition of the Gobi, the wilderness basin, the vast lakes, the grasslands and forests, and the green waters and mountains, connecting my heart, I have experienced these paths of assistance work. Through hardship and joy, I have experienced the strength of a team, felt the warmth of my fellow villagers, and gained a lot from it.
