Reflections on fulfilling the rotating Secretary General's duties

Hello everyone!

Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Chairman Yang Chunguang and the leadership team of the society. The implementation of the rotating secretary-general system is an important measure to implement Chairman Yang Chunguang's proposal to make this year the year of investigation and research, the year of style construction, and the year of reform and development. It is a great honor to become the second rotating secretary-general. During the rotating period, I listened closely to Chairman Yang Chunguang's teachings and received strong support and guidance from colleagues in the Secretariat, making me feel the strength and warmth of the organization. With the development of the market economy, the China Council for the Promotion of Foreign Exchange (CCPIT) is playing an increasingly important role in connecting enterprises, markets, coordinating relationships, and serving industries. Due to the complexity of academic work and the limited energy of entrepreneurs, it is decided that the China Council for the Promotion of Foreign Exchange (CCPIT) needs a strong secretariat to undertake more work in order to fully utilize the various functions of the CCPIT. It is not easy to be the Secretary General of the China Council for the Promotion of Foreign Affairs. My understanding is that we must firmly establish the "Four Consciousnesses", promote the "Four Spirits", adhere to the "Four Styles", and cultivate the "Four Abilities". Only in this way can we ensure the steady and healthy development of the Secretariat and the China Council for the Promotion of Foreign Affairs. I hereby report my insights and main work during my tenure as follows:

1、 Humbly study and conscientiously fulfill the responsibilities of the rotating secretary-general

During my one month rotation as Secretary General, I humbly learned and consulted from leaders and comrades with an empty cup mentality, and became familiar with the relevant work processes and methods of the association. I saw that my comrades are dedicated and dedicated to their work, thinking and doing things with heart, and implementing them with heart. Especially from Chairman Yang Chunguang, I learned the ability and courage to strategize, as well as the sense of foresight, caring for subordinates, and the approachable and infectious power of being an admirable leader; The Vice Chairman, Secretary General, and Secretariat comrades of the Society are diligent in their work every day, hardworking, and brave in taking on responsibilities. They have excelled in completing the work they should do. These are all examples for me to learn from. During this month, I successively participated in the exchange forum between the Society and the visiting Vice Chairman of the Guantang Branch of the Central Committee of the Civil Construction Federation, Mr. Pan Jinyuan, President of the the Belt and Road International Cooperation Promotion Association, and the Deputy Director of the Management Expo of the North China Air Traffic Control Center of CAAC on matters such as bilateral cooperation and joint promotion of international trade. It will play an important role in enhancing understanding, deepening friendship, building the the Belt and Road, promoting the chain development of Hong Kong's economy, and promoting new development and breakthroughs in Chinese path to modernization through exchanges. Secondly, I participated in a work conference for resident personnel chaired by Chairman Yang Chunguang, focusing on improving, reaffirming, and implementing relevant systems, promoting and deepening theme education activities, and conducting in-depth theme education activities. I implemented the tasks of the survey and research year, the work style construction year, and the reform and development year, and conducted research on achieving high-quality development of the overall work. I also participated in the theme education and party lecture activities organized by the society. The main purpose of this activity is to solidly carry out the theme education of learning and implementing the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Through learning, we can transform the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era into a strong force for firm ideals, strengthening party spirit, guiding practice, and promoting work. We can enhance our political, thinking, and practical abilities, and be adept at thinking, making decisions, and handling problems from the perspective of the Party and the people, as well as from the overall situation of the Party and the state. We can grasp the regularity of things from complex problems, and discover the trends of things from emerging problems, Understanding the inevitability of things from accidental problems, being adept at managing various complex situations, gathering social forces, preventing political risks, and effectively shouldering the political responsibilities entrusted by the Party and the people, truly becoming a politically savvy person. After serving as the second rotating secretary general, I will be able to better perform and manage various tasks of the business committee. In the context of the century long changes in the world economy and the ever-changing global epidemic, it is even more important to truly place businesses in our hearts, like family members, to seek warmth and care about pain points, and to solve obstacles and difficulties. Prevent and overcome the bad behavior of saying empty words but not doing practical things, and using lies to gain fame and reputation, and wholeheartedly serve the people. Only in this way can we find direction and position in our work, become true relatives with entrepreneurs, and the business commission can truly help enterprises alleviate difficulties, remain invincible, and actively create a work atmosphere of unity, brainstorming, and innovation, truly serving and supporting the high-quality development of local governments and enterprises.
