On July 16, 2023, the Hainan Free Trade Port Industry Chain Supply Chain Development Forum, hosted by the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation, the Haikou E-commerce Association, and the Haikou Silk Road Social Research Institute, and hosted by the Hainan University Research Products Exhibition Hall, was grandly held in the second office area of the association headquarters (the Harmony Conference Hall on the third floor of the Hainan University International Academic Exchange Center). Famous experts, entrepreneurs, artists, and friends from the local media in Hainan, totaling more than 320 people, gathered together to renew their friendship and explore strategies to promote the integration and development of industrial and supply chains, as well as safe and high-quality development. Yang Chunguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Society, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer. The morning thunder trembles, and the rain fills the mountains and seas. In this year's scorching summer season, on this cool and refreshing summer day, everyone is invited to hold the 2023 Hainan Free Trade Port Industry Chain and Supply Chain Development Forum at the world-class Hainan Free Trade Port in China, the most famous and beautiful university campus in Hainan, China, and the second office area of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation (Hainan). Experts are invited to, Entrepreneurs and friends engage in research and deliberation around the theme to form a path to promote the high-quality development of the national economy with positive energy. This is a major event and good thing that the Party, government, and society are highly concerned about. On behalf of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation, I would like to extend a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all comrades and friends who have been invited to participate in the event. From the current economic trend, I would like to make four points about the significance of convening this forum. Firstly, strengthening the integration and development of the industrial and supply chains is a great strategy made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade * * * as the core to promote the overall development of China's economy and the world economy. Comrade * * * has pointed out in the 20th National Congress of the Party and various occasions, Efforts should be made to enhance the resilience and security level of the industrial chain supply chain, and promote the effective improvement of quality and reasonable growth of quantity in the economy. This has pointed out the main direction for the development of key links in China's economy. According to the figures confirmed by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's economy has continued to develop in a healthy manner, with a growth rate of around 5.5% in the second quarter, which is the highest point in the same period three years after the epidemic, demonstrating the characteristics of strong resilience and resilience of China's economy. Under the premise of intensified policy implementation, China's economy has shown a recovery growth trend. The primary industry grew by 3.7%, the secondary industry by 4.3%, and the tertiary industry by 6.4%. The main performance is that the industrialization of agriculture drives stable growth, the equipment manufacturing industry supports industrial production to stabilize, the service industry continues to rebound, and drives the overall improvement of the employment situation. It is expected that the annual economic development goals are expected to be achieved. Therefore, it is still necessary to fundamentally stabilize market expectations and promote economic growth through reforms, rely wholeheartedly on enterprises, especially private entrepreneurs, and focus on improving the resilience and safety level of the industrial chain supply chain, effectively achieving effective improvement in economic quality and quantity growth, and using this as a key lever to promote high-quality economic development. Secondly, promoting the integrated development of the industrial chain and supply chain is necessary for achieving independent and long-term development of enterprises. This is both the foundation and the key. I will express it as a link of five chains, that is, the friendship chain is transformed into a cooperation chain, the cooperation chain is transformed into an industrial development chain, the industrial development chain is transformed into a gold chain, and the gold chain is ultimately transformed into a happiness chain. Everyone works together to achieve success. Fourthly, to promote the integrated development of the industrial chain and supply chain, we need to start from ourselves and ourselves, fully leverage the role of private enterprises, and effectively explore new paths. As an entrepreneur in Hainan, our mission is glorious and our responsibility is significant. Hainan Free Trade Port is a road that no one has traveled before, and it is also a road that must be taken. We need to follow the expectations of the Party Central Committee with Comrade * * * as the core and strive to forge a path suitable for the development of Hainan with Chinese characteristics. We need to be persistent, dedicated, and strive to practice, explore, and break through. As a national backbone society, our China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation has an important responsibility to assist in national strategy, technology linkage and achievement transformation for entrepreneurs. The fourth is to adhere to the principle of group strategy and innovation, creating breakthroughs, in order to form the best solution to the integration and development of the industrial chain and supply chain, provide scientific decision-making opinions, and report to the country, and also contribute valuable wisdom to the national academic think tank. For this, we need to make persistent efforts. Seeing that among the entrepreneurs who came to support the forum this time, the majority were young people from the young team, which made us more keenly smell the vitality and development of our future career. We always remember that "there are talented people from different generations, and new people are ahead of us in the future". When I was in Sanfu, I remembered the poem by the Ming Dynasty poet Wu and Bi, which said, "The water flows in Jieshi with three waves, and the new poem meticulously depicts the joy of ten thousand people." Today is the first anniversary of the sixth council change of our society. A year ago, in accordance with the necessary procedures and requirements of the higher authorities for the change of office, we held a grand ceremony for the change of office in Beijing. The new members of the council were elected, forming a landmark report on the work of the new council. In accordance with the decision of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, we made eight provisions on strengthening our own construction for the sixth council of the Society. The grand and enthusiastic opening of the new conference, the glorious mission that has come before, and the arduous task. Time flies, a year flies by. How was our task completed? Are the chairpersons and secretaries performing their duties effectively? Is the construction of the Party and the construction of its ideological style healthy and effective? How is the role played by party members, especially party leaders? Are the branches and members of the association satisfied with the management of the council? On the occasion of the first anniversary of the change of the Council of the Society, Comrade Yang Chunguang solemnly raised the "Chairman's Question" to all members of the Society. This is a major event that inspires colleagues in the society to further consolidate their spirit and work to the next level. To this end, the Secretariat held a meeting of all resident personnel on the afternoon of July 17th to carefully study and discuss Chairman Yang Chunguang's "six questions" regarding the first anniversary of the sixth council change. Everyone unanimously stated that in accordance with the eight provisions of the 6th Council of the Society on strengthening self construction, and in accordance with the "Chairman's Question", combined with their own job responsibilities and tasks, they should deeply consider and submit satisfactory answers. After careful discussion and unanimous agreement, the Vice Chairman and Secretary General (rotating Secretary General), as well as the heads of each branch, will write their work report for the past year within this week, and report their work to the Council in stages and batches. Secretariat staff should also write a work summary, which should be reviewed by the Secretary General and submitted to the Chairman. The key content is to focus on implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the "2023 Work Considerations for Learning Society", connecting with one's own reality, identifying gaps and shortcomings, discussing specific measures for improvement, and clarifying the direction of future efforts; Develop a survey questionnaire to solicit members' opinions on the satisfaction of the management team of the association, and compile the results.
