Three Work Trends Of The China Association For The Promotion Of International Economic And Technological Cooperation

（1） Branch offices of the society have successively visited the second office area of the society for learning and inspection

Recently, Wu Yongli, Chairman of the Standardization Working Committee of the Society, Yu Miao, Chairman of the Silk Road Cultural and Technological Industry Working Committee, and Liang Lihua, Executive Chairman of the Promotion of Business Environment Working Committee, led their respective work teams to visit the Second Office Area of the Society (International Academic Exchange Center of Hainan University in Haikou) for on-site learning. Under the guidance of consultant Zhang Xiyu, the Second Office Area fully assisted in promoting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port To facilitate international trade and expand the the Belt and Road Initiative. On the other hand, report to Chairman Yang Chunguang and Secretary General Li Gaodong, who are inspecting in Hainan, seeking work guidance and obtaining support from the second office area.

Consultant Zhang Xiyu welcomed the presidents of each branch to visit Hainan for inspection and introduced some specific measures taken by the Second Office Area to assist in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and promote international chain connectivity. Chairman Yang Chunguang pointed out that the work in the second office area is currently mainly aimed at the ASEAN countries, which is pioneering and experimental. Although some achievements have been made, the direction is correct, the path is smooth, and the prospects are promising. From the perspective of overall work, it has certain demonstrative significance. Hainan is the largest economic special zone in China, with unique advantages in implementing comprehensive deepening reforms and experimenting with the highest level of opening-up policies. Supporting Hainan to gradually explore and steadily promote the construction of a free trade port with Chinese characteristics, and establishing a policy and institutional system for free trade ports in steps and stages, is a major measure of reform and opening up personally planned, deployed, and promoted by the Xi Jinping General Secretary. It is a strategic decision made by the Party Central Committee with a focus on both domestic and international situations, through in-depth research, coordinated consideration, and scientific planning. Since May 2018, the Xi Jinping General Secretary has issued a series of important instructions to support and develop Hainan Free Trade Port. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have successively issued a series of policies, such as the Guiding Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Supporting Hainan's Comprehensive Deepening of Reform and Opening up, and the Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. In accordance with the Party Central Committee's instructions with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the Hainan Provincial Party Committee The provincial government has also done a lot of effective work to vigorously promote the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port and expand the construction of the the Belt and Road, which has formed a good situation where the whole country has vigorously supported and promoted the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, and people of insight around the world are seizing the development opportunity of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, and achieving their own great cause.

President Yang Chunguang stressed that it was the right time and of far-reaching significance for the three branch presidents of the Society to lead a number of entrepreneurs to visit the second office area in Hainan to support the development of Hainan Free Trade Port and expand the construction of the the Belt and Road with practical actions. I hope everyone can take a walk, take a look, truly enter Hainan, understand Hainan, and seriously connect with the construction project of Hainan Free Trade Port, demonstrating their skills and making contributions to the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. At the same time, during this crucial period of two years of management, it is necessary to carefully summarize this year's work, scientifically plan next year's work, form a positive work mindset and an entrepreneurial atmosphere, and make greater contributions to further polishing the brand of the association and expanding international cooperation led by supporting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.

（2） The Party Branch of the Secretariat of the Society has continuously held meetings on Party member organization life, rotating Secretary General supervision meetings, and research results sharing and work exchange meetings

On the morning of December 1st, the Party branch of the Secretariat of the Society held a Party member organizational life meeting in the conference room on the 7th floor, and all Party members attended the meeting. Guo Qiang, Acting Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice Chairman, presided over the meeting. The attending party members and comrades carefully analyzed the causes and future directions of the prominent problems in theoretical learning, political literacy, abilities, responsibilities, work style, integrity and self-discipline, and made serious preparations, analyzing and speaking one by one. All party members focused on the overall requirements of "learning ideology, strengthening party spirit, valuing practice, and building new achievements", benchmarking and analyzing party spirit in conjunction with work reality. Everyone was not afraid of embarrassment, adhered to principles, and made objective evaluations. They evaluated and criticized the speeches of each party member, and put forward relevant opinions and suggestions. Each party member made a serious statement based on the opinions and suggestions put forward by everyone. Comrade Guo Qiang made a concluding speech. He pointed out that the meeting had completed the established procedures and prescribed actions in accordance with the provisions of the Party Constitution and theme education, further deepening the achievements of theme education, allowing all Party members to once again experience the rigorous political life within the Party, and enhancing their awareness of consciously strengthening Party spirit cultivation. After the organizational life meeting, a rotating secretary-general supervision meeting of the society was immediately held. This is a special deployment in accordance with the requirements of theme education, aimed at further deepening the investigation and research year, work style construction year, and reform and development year. It marks the official launch of this work. Vice Chairman and Secretary General Li Gaodong first conveyed to the attending comrades the deployment and expectations of Chairman Yang Chunguang for the rotating Secretary General's work, and made serious arrangements from the importance of implementing the rotating duty of Vice Chairman and Secretary General in Beijing, the message of the Council, specific job responsibilities, work tasks undertaken, as well as adhering to daily duty, keeping records, writing reflections, and handover, Everyone had a serious discussion on the relevant issues. In the afternoon of that day, the Party branch of the Secretariat of the Society held a meeting to share research results and exchange work. All Party members, active members, and staff members of the Secretariat attended the meeting. Guo Qiang, Acting Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice Chairman, presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman Yang Lianzi, Vice Chairman and Secretary General Li Gaodong, Vice Chairman Cao Ruhua, Acting Secretary of the Party Branch, Vice Chairman Guo Qiang, and Vice Chairman Li Xiaoqing shared the results of thematic education research and exchanged work in conjunction with their respective work responsibilities. （3） Chairman Yang Chunguang and others attended the Congdu International Forum

The 8th International Forum in Conghua, Guangzhou, with the theme of "Multilateralism: More Exchange, More Inclusion, and More Cooperation," co hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Australia China Friendship and Exchange Association, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and the World Leaders Alliance, was held on December 4, 2023. Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Huang Kunming, and Governor of Guangdong Province Wang Weizhong attended the opening ceremony of the forum.

Xi Jinping General Secretary sends a congratulatory letter to the 2023 Congdu International Forum. Xi Jinping pointed out that since the establishment of the Metropolitan International Forum, it has gathered knowledgeable individuals from around the world to deeply explore various issues that affect world peace and stability, sustainable economic development, and cultural exchange and mutual learning, playing a positive role in promoting international cooperation and enhancing people to people communication. Xi Jinping emphasizes that in the face of unprecedented changes in the world, times, and history, human society must unite, adhere to mutual learning, openness, inclusiveness, cooperation and win-win, promote the common values of all mankind, and jointly build a better world. The Congdu International Forum was initiated and hosted by renowned entrepreneur and Chairman of Qiaoxin International Group, Zhou Zerong, since 2014, and has been held for seven sessions to date. Xi Jinping General Secretary has sent congratulatory letters in the previous three sessions and cordially met with foreign guests in Beijing three times after the forum ended. Former Vice President Wang Qishan has represented China three times in forums and delivered speeches. This forum is chaired by Jiang Jiang, Vice President of the China Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Huang Kunming, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, read a congratulatory letter specially sent by General Secretary Xi Jinping and delivered a speech.
