Ambassador To Chad Wang Xining Meets With UN Secretary General's Special Representative For Central Africa Abari
On October 1, 2022, Ambassador to Chad Wang Xining met at invitation with the United Nations Secretary General's Special Representative for Central Africa and Director of the United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa, Abari.
Ambassador Wang introduced the recent development of China Chad relations and China's policies towards Africa, expressing China's willingness to work with relevant parties, including international and regional organizations such as the United Nations and the African Union, to strengthen communication and coordination, and continue to support Chad's efforts to maintain peace and stability and promote national development.
Abari introduced the situation related to his visit to Chad and stated that China, as a permanent member of the Security Council, has been actively contributing to peace and security affairs in Africa. We look forward to China continuing to play a constructive role, supporting the work of the United Nations and Secretary General Guterres, and jointly promoting peace and stable development in Chad and the subregion.
Recently, Ambassador Wang visited the representative office of the African Union Commission in Chad and exchanged views with African Union representative in Chad, Iguebe, on China Chad, China Africa relations, and friendly cooperation between the two sides.
