（1） China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Pingdu City

On the morning of March 10th, Zhao Xingji, Secretary of the Party Committee of Pingdu City, Shandong Province, and his delegation visited our association for discussion and exchange, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Yang Chunguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Association, attended the symposium and the signing ceremony.

Both sides had friendly discussions and exchanges on deepening the implementation of the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, developing new quality productive forces, and promoting high-quality development of local private enterprises, and reached a consensus on future cooperation. After the sincere and enthusiastic discussion, a grand strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held. Under the witness of Chairman Yang Chunguang and Secretary Zhao Xingji, Vice Chairman Wu Qiang and Deputy Mayor Song Xuefeng of Pingdu City Government respectively signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

On the afternoon of March 10th, the Secretariat held a work meeting to summarize the spirit of the Two Sessions, decompose and divide the work points for 2024, and discuss the recent key work. Yang Chunguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, delivered an important speech.

Yang Chunguang demands that, firstly, we must have a profound understanding and grasp of the spirit of the Two Sessions, improve our enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity in doing a good job in academic work, and have a thorough understanding, learning, and implementation; Secondly, we must carefully decompose the key points of work for 2024, strengthen our sense of responsibility, service, and cooperation, and study and implement each task well; We must focus on the key tasks in the near future, stratify and classify them, focus on key points and areas, and achieve results; Fourth, we need to strengthen the service and supervision of branch offices, timely discover and grasp dynamic situations, timely strengthen contingency plans, and timely strengthen education and supervision; We must strengthen our own construction, improve our abilities and qualities, uplift our spirits, and make every effort to promote the healthy development of the society's work.

(III)The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles has signed a strategic partnership agreement with our association

On the morning of March 12th, Cao Jiachang, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and his delegation visited our association. They were warmly received and had discussions and exchanges with Yang Chunguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Association.

At the symposium, both sides watched promotional videos from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation. They focused on the pain points and difficulties encountered in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, such as the continuous changes in the current complex international situation, the decline in import and export and service trade, and the instability of industrial and supply chains. They engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions, expressing their intention to fully leverage their respective advantages in resources, technology, and talent, We will carry out in-depth practical cooperation, strive to strengthen the unified construction of the domestic market and expand the the Belt and Road, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of SMEs.

（4） The Party Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation Convenes a Party Member Conference for the Election of New Members

On the afternoon of March 12th, the Party branch of our association held a Party member meeting to carry out the election work for the new term.All party members and Secretariat staff of the Society attended the meeting. Yang Chunguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Society, attended the meeting. Guo Qiang, Vice Chairman and Acting Secretary of the Party Branch of the Society, presided over the meeting.

The meeting read out the approval of the Party Committee of the National Industry Association Chamber of Commerce, passed the election method, and announced the list of candidates for the Party Branch Committee through the list of scrutineers and vote counters at the conference. Through formal elections, Comrade Guo Qiang was elected as the Secretary of the new Party branch, Comrade Yang Lianzi was appointed as the Discipline Inspection Commissioner, and Comrade Li Gaodong was appointed as the Organization and Propaganda Commissioner.
