Xi Jinping Congratulatory Message To The Elected President Of Senegal, Faye

On March 28, 2024, National President Xi Jinping sent a telegram to Basilu Diomaye Faye, congratulating him on his election as President of the Republic of Senegal.

Xi Jinping pointed out that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Senegal, political mutual trust between the two countries has continued to strengthen, practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and close cooperation has been maintained in international affairs. As co chairs of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, both sides will jointly host the Forum on China Africa Cooperation Summit in China this year.
