Wang Huning Meets With Moroccan House Speaker Alami

On May 16, 2024, Wang Huning, President of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with Moroccan House Speaker Alami in Beijing.

Wang Huning stated that Morocco was one of the earliest African and Arab countries to establish diplomatic relations with New China. In recent years, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and King Mohammad VI, the strategic partnership between China and Morocco has continuously achieved new fruitful results. China is willing to work with Morocco to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The Chinese National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the Moroccan side, and promote stable and far-reaching relations between the two countries.

Alami stated that Morocco firmly adheres to the One China policy. Morocco is willing to strengthen the docking of development strategies with China, expand cooperation in various fields such as economy, culture, and tourism, and continuously deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries. Thank you to the Chinese side for their assistance in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and earthquake in Morocco. Mo is willing to play a positive role in promoting African China cooperation. The House of Representatives looks forward to strengthening friendly exchanges with the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and enhancing friendship between various sectors of society in both countries.
