Xi Jinping Calling To Congratulate Sisi On His Re-election As The President Of Egypt

On December 19, 2023, the National President Xi Jinping sent a message to Abdelfattah al Sisi to congratulate him on his re-election as President of the the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Egypt are good friends who share the same aspirations and trust each other, as well as good partners who work together for development and common prosperity. In recent years, China Egypt relations have flourished, practical cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results, and the friendship between the two peoples has continued to deepen. I attach great importance to the development of China Egypt relations. I am willing to work with President Abdel Fattah al Sisi to continue to firmly support each other, promote China Egypt cooperation in jointly building the "the Belt and Road", work together to safeguard the common interests of developing countries, and promote China Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level to better benefit the two peoples.
